Frooti is also available in many international markets like USA, Canada,UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Maldives, Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Ireland and many other countries. It is the flagship product of and the most successful drink offered by Parle Agro India Pvt. Ltd. in India andParle Agro Nepal Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal.

Challenge

Frooti being the pioneer in mango drink segment and aware of the rising competition, wanted to do reach out to the maximum youth of the nation in order to enhance its brand presence among the young ones. Reaching the youth across the nation with very limited resources in hand that to remotely from one location was the challenge that was kept on the table.

Solution

Taking on the challenge, Experiencious proactively came with the idea to connect youth and Frooti through the medium of gaming. Involving gaming in any of the activity would excite the youth. The game will have Frooti branding to increase the branding of Frooti among the youth. Moreover, maximum youth can be found in the colleges. So, Experiencious and Frooti shortlisted 80 colleges across India, where the gaming activity will be carried out. Experiencious came up with Frooti Freek Out which is a multiple motion sensing based Augmented reality game connected to Facebook in realtime.Based around a webcam-style add-on peripheral, it enables users to control and interact with the game without theneed for a game controller, through a natural user interface using gestures. The gaming system consisted of a camera screen and an Augmented Reality Software. The contestantstands in front of the camera screen having a distance of 20 feet. After the game is over, scores are posted on the contestant’s Facebook page with the pictures.

Result

The gaming experience provides maximum involvement of the youth. The new age youth of the nation is very much into virtual gaming and takes keen interest in it. Thereby providing Frooti an opportunity to interact with maximum youths. Also, the Frooti branding will leave a great impact of the brand in the mind of the new age young blood. As the entire event was done remotely from one location, minimum resources were used.
